Brilliant but somehow brutal.
If you want to buy this book to boost your self-esteem or to give hope in your life, you should probably read another book like "You Are A Badass by Jen Sincero".
This book is more like a Philosophy book rather than a Self-Development book. At first, I thought I was reading a history book. It shared stories and there were instances that it is not somehow related to what he is talking about.
This book is more like a demolition of one's hope or self-esteem book. This book drained my energy to the point that it is dreadful to read until the end. I just thought that this book is potentially harmful to those who are feeling down or depressed at the moment. They might be clinging to a string of hope that can potentially be strengthened or destroyed by reading this book.
I'm giving it three stars anyway because I learned a few useful insights and ideas about Philosophy and life. But in my honest opinion, I wouldn't really recommend this book unless you're into Philosophy.
