Tough review to write. This film does not present a clear and obvious political or social message. I think you have to draw your own conclusion. The film is shown entirely from the perspective of the 2 female photographers and the two male journalists who travel around together while this civil war is going on. The movie does show graphic violence and a few very disturbing moments fyi. I think part of the message is to show how inhumane and callous people can be to one another and how we all need to consider this and change. The press members themselves seem to show little respect for each others lives even though they are working together and if they do seem to care that goes away when they get what they want so I think a knock on the shallowness of the media for sure. I am older than Kirsten Dunst and have always liked her so I went to see it for her not really knowing anything. She is a down to earth actress with no bells and whistles. Take her as she is and I like that and I am happy to report that she still looks good and was a joy to watch. The younger photographer is played by Cailee Spaeny and her performance really is stellar. The biggest moments surround her and she comes through in a big way. I predict a bright future for her. Overall I felt the film is good but not necessarily great so I do recommend it but only for those who want something that makes them think and can handle those tough moments.

My all time favourite comedy. Seen long time ago but only writing review now. Movie is mix of British and American comedy and it really works. Bank robbery results in one member going to jail and the American duo trying to find where he hid the money. So funny in so many ways. Kevin Kline wins Best Supporting Actor which is rare for a comedy shows how good it was. Worth the time for sure.

Based on Catholic religious beliefs, I enjoyed it a lot. Story based on bringing Satan's son to Earth from Hell. Reeves has more dialogue than other films and the different characters in the film offer a lot in terms of personality. They keep saying sequel is coming, been waiting for it.

The person before me reviewed a different movie. This film another one man wrecking crew movie with little dialogue. It's ok for awhile but there are a few times where it is too unrealistic. That may be ok for a pure fantasy movie but crosses the line for WWII. Performance by leading man is quite good but there are way too many films like this flooding the market and it's just a different way to keep women out and keep them down. If movies like this are the new super hero then honestly I think we should stop right here.

Was very pleasantly surprised. Story was good as was the way it played out. What I liked the most is that to me at least, they took Denzels age into account and did not have long dragged out fight scenes that are completely unbelievable for one man. He is a retired CIA agent and they did it right. When he killed it was fast with precision and no feeling. I liked this one better than the other two. Kudos!

Adaptation of Agatha Christie novel Halloween Party with Kenneth Branaugh as Hercule Poirot. This film is a murder mystery, not a Halloween horror movie and I enjoyed it thoroughly. The killer is well concealed until the end and the cast is stellar. Story plays out well and look forward to next movie in series.

Hightown has moved into season 2. Mixing crime with addiction recovery as well as numerous sex scenes is tough. Early in season 2 Monica Raymund's character moved from the Marine Fisheries job to the town police force. This makes sense but in early episodes there doesn't seem to be much direction and the show seems like a soap opera. Visits to inmates at prison only different inmates and throwing in sex scenes for no apparent reason are the same as season one. No discernible story line is developing so not sure where it's going. Show is alright but leaves some to be desired in terms of character development and plot.
