Spoilers!! 📢📢🚨🚨🛑 I have read the books all they way through now about 3 times. I was so excited for this movie. I knew almost instantly that this was going to be a massive let down. The 3rd book is one of the longest and a lot of stuff happens in it. I'm trying to remind myself that they could shoot in Washington because of covid. But to completely ingnore half of the book is unbelievable. The movie should of been put on hold until they could do it justice. To completely cut out the Hardin Tessa Zed love triangle made it seem like Tessa is constantly cheating on Hardin. It didn't make sense why she really wanted to move to Seattle because it left out the whole part with what stuff tried to do with her and that Tristan try to stop. It was just such a massive letdown after waiting this long for a movie. Not to mention they cut everything out with Trevor and tried to put Robert in the place of Trevor like with Hardin's nightmares. I guess if you've never read the books you'll think the movie is really good but anybody who is an avid fan of the books is going to be highly disappointed. I wouldn't waste my money on going to the theater to actually see this. I was a person who went to the theater to see it and I can tell you the entire crowd boo'd, screamed that this was not how the book was at all,and was upset that they had to pay for this. It sucks because I had such high hopes for this movie and if they just would have waited a little bit of time to actually be able to have the whole cast there and make a proper movie it would have been amazing. I'm hoping that the fourth movie is better, but I'm not holding my breath. I know they shot these movies in consecutive order. So there's no hope of bringing in Zed or any of the other characters that they just completely wrote out and just skipped over. I don't know what the writer was thinking or the backers for this movie. How hard was it to wait one more year so they could shoot in 2021 to make these movies!? Us afternaters would have been sad for the wait but would have much rather waited for the proper movie to come out. I just feel bad for Hero and Josephine. I know they poured their heart and souls into all of movies and to have an uncomplete second half of this series must be truly hard for them. They should be proud of the work that they did but be angry with the writers of this movie! This is one of those movies that I hope 10 years down the road they decide to remake and make it the proper way! Again, Hero and Josephine your guys is acting was amazing and your chemistry was amazing. You should truly be proud of the work that you put on that screen!
