I absolutely love this movie and have watched it 10x already. I just want to hang out with Russell Crowe, Marion and Abbie and the Duflot's at the beautiful villa and vineyard. It is evocative of everything we (think) know about Provence. Russell, always a very convincing actor in more dramatic roles flexed his chops as lead in a romantic comedy. And he was pitch perfect. The visuals and the music and Albert's Finney's rendition of the eccentric Uncle was also on point. Just about everyone in this ensemble cast was excellent. And I love the way that no country mentioned in the script was spared a barb or two; French as Frog lovers; Americans as too wealthy with no wine knowledge (except for "Napa Valley wine brat" Christie), and Brits as overly stuffy. A gem of a romantic comedy.
