Best thing I’ve ever watched in my life. It is like the best kind of book - so detailed, so well drawn, it becomes a world you can inhabit. The depictions of battles truly moving, and the problems of the after war period are expertly shown in a way that makes you feel it. The characters are multifaceted, complex, and every single period depicted was fascinating for different reasons. Awesome storytelling. I just spent 60 hours of my life on this and learnt quite a bit of Spanish along the way. Truly epic
