Unfortunately I have left this review till the very end of season 4. As the series has drained so much of my spirit I can't give this review as much justice as I would like. This has to be the worst series I have watched in a very long time and trust me I watch my fair share. Everything that makes a series a series from the writing to the character development, to the directing, was terrible. I am really not one to make a review on anything but this frustrated me so bad. Just to highlight some stupidity amongst a plethora of stupidity. How many times is uhtred going to get rinsed and dried by the Saxons whom he really has no loyalties too given the Danes protected him and brought him up whilst a Saxon wanted to kill him... How is the world is there a 9 months pregnant woman fighting Saxon soldiers with two kitchen knifes... Sooo how many people in the end was uhtred In love with... Honestly if I had more time I could thi n of more rubbish. But for now people avoid this waste of time. P.s I watched it all so I could have a holistic opinion on it
