I wasted 2 hours of my life that I will never get back. Instead of the movie focusing on the girl's accomplishments, it focused more on the toxic relationship she had with her boyfriend and how his personal failures overpowered the entire communication dynamics. It was a horrible way of projecting toxicity in relationships and how a couple miserably fails at putting their love above their career expectations and ambitions. I hated the excessive foul language, how they treated each other, how sex was seen as the solution to every one of their problems, and the way people in general treated each other in that movie. Skip it. Not worth the watch!

Another average "prequel" type Disney movie that left much to be desired. The movie is incredibly long and painfully slow until the last 20 minutes of it where everything unravels in what seems to be the worst rushed possible way to untangle the previous 2 hours. It provides very little insight or connection to the original "101 Dalmatians" film and the character of Cruella seems to have nothing to do with the villain we love to hate. The story focuses on the Baroness as the main villain as opposed to Cruella, who doesn't seem to find her footing in the story. The soundtrack is great! (probably the only stellar thing about the movie) and the acting is phenomenal as well. I wish they would have showcased the early Cruella in relation to the dalmatian hating woman that she is in the original film rather than making the story about her avenging the death of her mother, who ultimately wasn't her mother. I'm being generous with my rating because my kids did love it.
