Sometimes you just want to watch a feel good movie that isn't about sappy romance, a movie that you can watch while cuddled in a blanket on a weekday evening, with a sandwich and an unrecommended glass of coke. This is that movie. Jon Favreau's acting as a passionate chef is bang on and there isn't any kind of pretentious romcom acting in this either.
