This movie was heart warming, super emotional, and I thought the acting was good. As a therapist, it always grinds my gears when a therapist crosses the boundary to romantic. Ethical guidelines strictly prohibit romantic relationships until 10 years after having someone as a patient (although many would say to avoid these unbalanced relationships altogether) This would not have ended well for Anna Kendrick’s career as a therapist, and would have potentially barred her from achieving her license. I wish the movie ended with JGL finding a more appropriate love interest, remaining cancer free.
