It's obviously revolutionary they took the pro bowl away and brought it back lol!Next year they'll probably bring back the passing system they had in 2017 so they can claim it's new.
Still has scripted defense. Franchise is still worse now then it was 11years ago. They have been putting virtually zero effort into franchise for years.Presentation is miles behind 2k. Can't offer free agents multi-year contracts,no contract restructuring,no compensation picks. You always have a full stadium unlike years ago where if your team was horrible stadium would be empty. Still have cheesy money plays because of the scripted offense and defense. Finally they have ripped off 2k's badge system. Now they have copied 2k's Mygm mode so they are inching close to 2k14 in 2020. The most innovative stuff they've done in several years is copying 2k with draft classes, badges and mygm.
They obviously only want you to play ultimate team so you can spend $180, then if you do they'll come out with way better players and your $180 team will be non competitive by Halloween. They just need to get rid of that mode altogether. I'll give it a 2outta 10,would be a 1 but they copied a couple things 2k did 6 and 7 years ago so they are inching forward, and I do mean ultimate team and the lack of competitionhas killed this game.
It's not a simulation and probably never will be,because 98% of their effort will be put into making new MUT cards. When they should be putting at least 50% of their effort into making realistic unscripted gameplay and AI. They shouldn't even release new games it should just be a $10 patch every year, that's dlc or comes on a disc, to update your copy of Madden 14 to Madden 20. It's a good thing NFL 2k doesn't exist anymore because if it did Madden would be dead like NBA Live.To bad the community didn't have access to the engine cause I gurantee a mod team could do a better job in 3 years than EA could in 12.RIP Sim sports games, long live micro transaction scripted money plays 🧀
