I read this in 1972. My first book was Most Secret by Nevil Shute in 1971. After that I have read so many books by so many authors. Now It is 2020. I can say that in this span of my life the best novels I have read are Ruined City,Requiem for a Wren and Lonely Road. After this come Dick Francis and Wilbur Smith.

I started reading English novels from 1971. I have read books of most of the Authors. The best to choose is Nevil Shute. Then comes Dick Francis and Wilbur Smith. I love all the novels of Dick Francis and Wilbur Smith but the best to have read in my life, First is The Shepherd by Frederic Forsyth and then comes Ruined City, The Lonely Road and No Highway by Nevil Shute. Nothing Lasts Forever by Sidney Sheldon also needs to be mentioned.
