I'm not sure what these major film critics are on about. I'm currently 17 and I watched this with my friend the other day and it had us in stitches the entire time. The reviewer from 'Variety' said that the movie is "detached from a child's reality" and compares it with 'Inside Out', personally I think that the 'Boss Baby' pertains more to a child's reality than 'Inside Out' by a long shot. Timothy's overactive imagination portrays exactly the sort of feelings that young children can have towards similar ideas to those covered in the movie. Being an only child myself, I do remember having quite an active imagination from 5-9. My point is that this is a wonderful movie and I totally recommend it to anyone, it is funny without being overly childish and has aspects for all ages.
