Sorry folks can’t recommend this garbage. It misses on everything it tries to do. Not funny. Over the top on everything; the Hispanic actor, an observer, captured the essence: mystified and then participates in this nonsense…don’t waste anytime on this mess.

Loved it! Great movie.superb acting…entertaining and heartwarming. Grew up in an ethnic oriented community and loved the humor, misunderstanding; as well as racial issues! Highly recommend.

30 years after movie made, don’t think much has changed. Police are now at a great disadvatage. Penn’s character would be classified as police brutality even in such a violent world. Penn and Duvall are excellent. Movie is violent and Gritty.
