Where to start? The cinematography is mediocre, the dialogue is weak, and the portrayal of Native Americans is unrealistic—for example, they don't roar like the monster in Predator. While Kurt Douglas delivers a solid performance despite the poor dialogue, the same can’t be said for the rest of the cast. The few action scenes are well done, which is the only reason I didn’t give it one star. The plot also had several confusing elements that weren’t explained. Why did the Native Americans travel four or five days to that town, break into the sheriff’s jail, and kidnap the doctor, deputy, and prisoner? And there’s no indication they had horses—how did they get there? Run? Also in one of the shoot out scenes with the Troglodytes the terrible name of the Indians there are two low reverberating tones that sound when Kurt Douglas shoots them?? What the hell was that was that supposed to be air coming out of them?
I feel like this could have been a good movie if they had spent more time working on it but it feels like it was written and filmed in two weeks. The trailer is better than the movie.
