This game brings back so many memories. Although the graphics, gameplay, and voices are obviously dated, I just can't find a way to take off those rose-tinted glasses. For those who don't mind dated controls, graphics, etc, this game is pretty good. If you want to play the original Resident Evil, but don't have the money for the PS1 version, get the DS version as it's a little bit cheaper. It's also a good game to get your toes wet if you're looking to try a survival horror game: it's got a good story and unique gameplay mechanics.

This video game is one of, if not the most iconic video games of the 1980's. It not only saved the video game industry, it also gave rise to some of the most iconic video game characters ever made. I cannot even imagine what the video game world would look like today hadn't Mario been borne. This game also holds a special place in the hearts of many gamers who grew up with Nintendo. Although the graphics, music, and gameplay might turn off gamers who prefer ultra-hd graphics, for casual gamers, this game is a blast to play. For gamers who were fans of Nintendo once upon a time, they'll have a hard time trying to hold back tears of nostalgia while listening to the game's soundtrack.

Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee!

This faithful remake of the original Pokémon Red & Blue (or Red & Green if you are from the PAL region) is great if you want to play in full-colour HD on a home console. For those who grew up and had fond memories with the original games would likely feel a rush of nostalgia upon hearing the soundtrack for the first time in over 20 years since the original release on the GameBoy. The graphics are impressive and so is the gameplay if you like old-school JRPG games. It's definitely worth playing if you have kids or are a kid who like Pokémon.

This is a good video game if you like obscure video game platformers that never seem make it past one game. It's too bad because the Xbox absolutely deserves a mascot that could be geared towards gamers of all ages. Microsoft tried making a K-A (Kids to Adults) mascot with a game called Blinx the Time Sweeper, but like other platformers that tried to fit in on a console seemingly marketed towards adults, it failed badly. Despite all of those issues, it would be awesome to finally be able to see this adorable little fox (Lucky Swifttail) become a mainstay mascot and a successful gaming franchise complete with all manor of merchandise such as plush toys, cups, action figures, shirts, costumes, and things like that.

If you like a good sci-fi FPS game that takes place in space and like games such as Metroid, this one is for you! I enjoyed this game quite a bit when I was young and is still worth playing today (even though I am not really a big fan of first-person shooters). It would be really cool to see a sequel to the game on Nintendo Switch, plus a remake of the original on that particular console. The graphics have aged well, but they unfortunately do not hold up to current-generation standards. I would also like to see a multiplayer mode in a new sequel because FPS games do not seem to be complete without some sort of multiplayer mode. Maybe they could add a Deathmatch, King of the Hill, or Capture the Flag mode depending on players' choosing.

Donkey Kong 64 was one of my favourite video games of all time growing up as a kid in the 2000's. I know I am overstating it here, but Donkey Kong 64 is a decent game if you can get past some of the flaws that it has. It has some of the best graphics (along with a few other titles) on the Nintendo 64, great soundtrack, and a unique charm to it. Donkey Kong 64 is a must-have in the Nintendo 64 library along with Banjo Kazooie and Golden Eye 007 for those looking to play some of Rareware's N64 titles. Today's kids may find the controls to this game difficult to master, but as soon as they can master the controls, they might want to play it nonstop! This game also has a decent player vs. player battle mode where players can knock each other out and see who has more points. This is definitely a nostalgia blast for those who were fans of this game and it still holds up well even today despite some of the issues some modern gamers would have about it.

Those who grew up in the late 1990's or the early 2000's will likely remember this game and may even have a nostalgia overload when playing this game. Super Mario 64 has aged relatively well, but unfortunately no longer has the shine it once had in its hey-day. It is still a must-have game for those people who are looking to collect games for the Nintendo 64. The younger generations should at least give this game a try once in their life if they are interested in retro 3-D video games because this game is a classic and is fun to play despite the issues modern gamers would have with the N64 JoyStick. Perhaps your kids might really like this game!

This Nintendo 64 game is legendary. The storyline, gameplay, and soundtrack are what make this game a must-have for any Nintendo 64 game collector. This game has also aged very well and still looks good even today, even though the graphics are not what they would have been in its hey-day (I hope I spelled that right). Chances are it might even make some fond memories for young gamers looking to try out some retro 3D games.
