I enjoyed it despite its making me uncomfortable at times. (Occasionally a little too close to home actually.) It’s the least ‘comic book’ of the Batman franchise, that’s for sure. Joaquin Phoenix is fantastic and I think his performance alone makes it worth seeing. I saw it at the cinema this time, in a wonderful Vue Cinema with all recliners. I’ll watch it again, but probably at home and for free. 🤡
