When graphic sex and violence are used to make up for poor character development, plots full of holes, and nonsense dialogue, you know it's going to be terrible. The main character is a dick to literally everyone and has no redeeming qualities whatsoever. It's the kind of eye-rolling historical fiction that makes you want to see the main character get killed so that everyone can move on with their lives. I tried watching a few episodes before I realized it was only getting worse instead of better.
