Didn't really want to give it one star! Perhaps if I had never read the book, listened to Jeff Wayne then I would not have know any better! This version as many reviews have said started off with promise but got worse. The final episode was just bogged down with nonsense. How the creators of this can state based on the book is difficult to understand. The confusing back and forth into future then past was not really needed. It would have been a better version if started after the invasion showing how humanity servived. Please don't try this again.
