Your recent episode on Covered Bridges In Massachusetts was such a wonderful tribute to these antique treasures, in particular, the Gilbertville bridge situated in my hometown. My father was born in and raised in the last house on the left before you cross over into Ware, and his parents ran a grocery store out of the last building on the right. He and his siblings played, hunted and fished in the local surroundings. While I haven't lived there in many years, when I return, I make sure to visit the bridge, find my dads name carved there in 1933, then head over to Rose 32 for the best chocolate chip scones ANYWHERE! Thank you for another terrific episode.
