I’ve played the 10 hour trial on 2 accounts and all I can say is that the game is seriously underwhelming. I’ll give them credit for the yard which is really fun but that’s it. The Avalanche ability is so overpowered, no player in the NFL can force a fumble with every big hit they give, especially against premier running backs. Jamal Adams and Bobby Wagner both have that ability and yes they’re great players but they won’t force a fumble on Barkley, Elliot, McCaffery, on every big hit no matter how hot they are. The passes are incredibly low and not realistic to how a quarterback would throw the ball, the game is also super reliant on forced animations. For example I was running with Saquon and was running towards a gap and I got too close to my lineman which forced me to spin and I spun right into a defender. Franchise mode is entirely untouched and somehow got worse, the announcers can’t even get the year right, or who’s winning. I was up 3 touchdowns and scored again to run up the score, and the announcers said that with the score the game was closer but still out of reach for my team to win. When I won the NFC Championship they said I was going to Super Bowl 53 which took place at the conclusion of the 2018 season. EA clearly doesn’t care about their fans or product, save your money till they make a decent game. Over the last 6 years I’ve put about 100 days of play time into Madden and the product they put out this year is unacceptable!!
