We, as Indians, seem to be growing increasingly regressive with each passing day, as if we are living out the plot of a backward-moving film.
This is the story of an illegitimate mafia boss whose greatest sorrow in life is that he cannot pass down his family surname to his son. However, if he has a daughter, it doesn’t trouble him, as she will eventually take on her husband’s surname anyway.
In the climax, this so-called hero—while bound hand and foot—somehow manages to single-handedly defeat over 50 criminals by simply biting them on their necks.
And yet, this movie is being celebrated by audiences across India. No surprise, considering how our society appears to be sinking deeper into decay.
