It's a quality game, and quite fun, but it lost the aesthetic that made earlier games like 64 and Sunshine better. This is less a review on the game itself and more a review on its impact on the series. This was the turning point where Mario stopped being about Mario's adventures through the mushroom kingdom, and instead made it about how evil Bowser is. Also the aesthetic is much different from the earlier games. I hope they change this, in the future.
