the plot was great, but the methods the director/s took to achieve it was a bit unrealistic. for example, I don't think a company would attempt to get something back that they've already sent away. and I'm pretty sure that's illegal. aside from that, the criticism savannah faced, after the "poopgirl" incident was unrealistic as well. this is similar to "He's All That" when Padgett received tons of hate when it was obvious that she was the victim. also, I don't think barney would be the only child to not have a b*bot. we see in the movie that only 1 million b*bots were sold. with this information, it's unlikely that barney was the only one in his class(?) that couldn't afford a b*bot. I was weirded out by the occupation of the father. he mentioned wanting to provide the most for his child, but why sell novelties, that haven't had any good attention, throughout the whole movie? also, I'm pretty sure that Andrew, the ex-CEO, should have been arrested for illegally recording minors (a million of them). in the movie, it is mentioned that the b*bots are coded around the likes and dislikes of the child. it is mentioned multiple times that the b*bots know basically everything about the user. my problem is that the b*bot of savannah would've known to stop recording as soon as the situation would've gone bad. aside from that, when savannah was crying about the issue, her b*bot continuously disturbed her, when it should've left her alone (which savannah obviously wanted, but it didn't know). also, i'm positive mark weidell, the creator, couldn't have been fired. if i'm not wrong, it was mentioned that the shareholders held a vote and fired him, however why fire the creator of the product? aside from that, shareholders can't fire CEOs (only the board of directors can). also in the later part of the movie, when marc exposed andrew of recording the children and stated "i hate children", i'm pretty sure andrew couldn't have just elected or brought back marc as the CEO, because like i said, there's many details and procedures when firing and electing a CEO. lastly, when the code of ron was copied to the rest of the b*bots, why was it that he had to "die"? earlier in the movie, we see ron sharing with the other b*bots the ability to remove the "unviolent" setting. ron just had to touch the other b*bots and have his code "copy and pasted". if that was possible, without ron dying, why did he die in the end? plus ron's just a bunch of code, that can easily be copy and pasted to another bot (just like baymax). it was a good movie, but a lot of obstacles and losses could have been avoided easily.
