This film separates itself from the original & goes into a darker new feel that I quite enjoyed. & really feels like Malcom’s POV as JP felt like Grants.. with amazing characters like Malcom, Roland going through nice solid arks from beginning to end. It made for an entertaining film with great suspenseful scenes. This movie is a worthy sequel to the original. & stands on its own. Easily an 85% fresh solid B
