This is a fine sensitive movie with ensemble cast. The actors bring alive a story which is subtle with an excellent climax. It is sad to see that even in 22 century, women have to fight to stand up against the feudal and brahminical value Driven society. Watch it. Don’t miss it.

A nice film. A whiff of fresh air among the recent Kannada movies. Interesting story, wonderful acting by all artistes especially Arohi Narayan, Arvind Iyer kand Priyanka Thimmesh. Veterans Achyuth Kumar and Vijay Chandoor are treat to watch. Kids steal the show! My only crib is it is too long and second half drags. The movie can be edited and shortened by 30 minutes. There is no need for songs in the move at all. Charan Raj’s music is good. The outdoor locations in rain drenched Malnad is soothing to eyes with lovely photography. Not to be missed.

See the movie for supporting cast. Pankaj Tripathi is the hero of the movie. The airforce selection scene shown is absurd. Selection in AIrforce Selection Board never happens like the way it is shown. Same with exaggerated training scenes. Why can’t these guys be truthful? As an army officer and also someone who went for Airforce selection I know it. The scenes of her discrimination is also overblown. There could have been some definitely but the way it is shown is far from truth. It is too much of drama bazee. The war scenes look staged. In the end, Jhanvi Kapoor tries but can not act. Period. She can’t emote. Her voice can not modulate. Whether it is anger or sorrow or happiness she fails in it. She has got this role because she is Sridevis daughter. The best fit for this role would have been Tapsee Pannu. BTW, another lady Officer was commissioned along with Gunjan who also took part in Kargil. Why didn’t they show her????

This is nice feel good movie for gloomy times. Based on real life story. Very well done. Original Prakash Jha at his best! Adil Hussain in his best role! Seeing Sanjay Suri after long time! Don’t miss it.
