What else can I add to everything said in previous reviews? Circe by Madeleine Miller is a grasping tale set in Greek mythology and like 'Odysseus' takes you on a journey you wish will never end. It hooked me from page one and once started was impossible to put down.It's a long time since I've read anything so well written. It's a book that once finished, leaves you bereft as you feel nothing you read again will ever compare and is one you will return to again and again and holds an indelible place in my heart.
