The first 2 seasons was very good, mixing the vampire lore in the 21st century with a nice gothic & horror mix. However, from season 3 the show lost its way as the writers try to bring science + time travel into the story and in the end plot becomes gibberish and boring. Why u build a character in the first three season like the main antagonist (Sam) who does not have any purpose thereafter. In the end the it becomes very annoying as most of the characters becomes loosely built, dialogues becomes laughable and you loose the link with the story. The fight scenes are well made.
