The new Pokémon are extremely lazy, don’t even really feel like Pokémon. A good fraction of the new Pokémon are just regional variants of old Pokémon; you can tell the devs are running out of ideas. The region is open and confusing, I didn’t like being railroaded but now it is far too open and I struggle to find all the trainers in an “area”. Graphics, textures, and performance are all far less than what they should be, based on the year of release and the budget the game could/should be allowed. Terastallizing is ok I guess, but don’t get used to it because it’ll only be around for one game. I have never seen less reason to buy a set of games than with scarlet and violet. You don’t even save money bundling them together. I wish I could get my money back for this game. I’ve bought and played every Pokémon game religiously since Crystal, and I’ve sat through a couple of stinkers; but I am so incredibly sad to say that this will be the last Pokémon game I will play

The theme song should have been Salt N Peppa's "lets talk about sex" because that's literally all the characters do. If you want to have a fun night, watch 2 episodes and take a sip of beer every time a character says the word "sex"

The Regional forms are a sloppy fix to the mega evolution system, the story is bad, the characters never shut up, you’re being led around for almost half the game, there’s no gyms or challenging trainers whatsoever, there’s no HM moves… everything about this game is a violent shift into new game mechanics. Almost nothing is familiar. I’d really like to have a skip dialogue button, so that when I set aside an hour to play the game, I’m not just listening to tutorial for 30 mins
