An excellent and innovative concept considering the status and range of Malayalam cinema back then. It's a musical romantic mystery film. The script is good but the movie as a whole is unsatisfactory for the direction and screenplay weren't upto the mark. The music direction by Vidyasagar is beautiful and successful. It's still one of those rare movies in Malayalam that acquired a positive position in the audiences' hearts despite being a box office failure. Two reasons i could find for the movie's disappointing performance were one, the technical side, that is, the screenplay and direction; and two, the audience weren't ready for such a kind of an innovative twist in Malayalam film plots.
