this book has good morals and themes but it's so boring and is wayyyy too long compared to 3-minute songs that convey the exact same ideas. i read this book 3 years ago and still don't remember ANYTHING about it except it revolves around two siblings and their father. if you're not required to read this at some point in your life, consider yourself lucky. i would rather take a practice SAT then anything regarding this book.
