I’m a big fan of the last of us series and even then I can understand why people may not be a fan of the game. Still I think it’s a game that many people will think about in years to come. The story is so complex and since everyone has different experiences in life, everyone will see the game and the theme differently. Some points of the gameplay were slow, but as a whole it was enjoyable. AI was upgraded and so was the character design of a old characters and new ones alike. I felt as if the ending fit the world of the game and it couldn’t have ended in any other way. It’s a game that makes you think about humanity and morals in the micro and macro scale. If you do a speed run of the game, you may not understand and feel the big picture. The details in gameplay and background further implant the reason why characters do what they do. It made me reflect on myself and it’s a story that couldn’t be told in any other medium.
