I think the shows carpenters and designs show quality craftsmanship. However, I think they should take some responsibility in the safety of using power tools since DIY'rs are probably watching. I constantly see power saws, nail guns, etc being used while those operating them are not wearing safety glasses. Or even better, have glasses on their heads. I mean, really, one of them has an eye patch. I have also seen step ladders leaning against walls being used. I understand it's your choice, but lead by example.
