Don't go expecting Heath, Jack or friggin' Jared Leto. Don't go expecting anything you think you know, just enjoy the ride.

It's watchable, I thought it dragged at the beginning. Gosling's character doesn't really say much, he sits and smiles...a lot. Someone will speak to him and he takes days to respond. I actually stopped watching it and was looking for something else when I decided to read up on it. It got an Oscar nomination, won something, maybe a Golden Globe. Got good reviews. If nothing else I try to be open minded so I returned, maybe it was me, (It's not you it's me..............no, it's you) . So I went back. it got interesting. The violence was gruesome and the ending is pretty bleak. Gosling's acting still didn't grab me. Yes, I realise I am the only person in the known universe who saw this and wasn't impressed
