As a club DJ/VJ in the ‘80’s, Mötley Crüe was not my genre of music. The only songs of theirs that came into my consciousness was, “Smokin’ in the Boys Room,” and “Girls, Girls, Girls.” Having said that, I absolutely loved, “The Dirt.” It’s a great movie that feels real, especially to those of us who crossed over to the dark side, or had difficult childhoods. There is an honesty there that resonates. Many of us consider ourselves fortunate to have survived the ‘80’s. You can’t help but like these guys, with or without their music.
