What a beautiful album. Cant believe the originals are 50 years since Christmas Portrait. What a legacy Karen Carpenter left behind and thanks to Richard this updated version. Simply the best background to any Christmas. You cant improve on perfection and the Carpenters had it in abundance..... and as this release proves, they still do. Watching season 1 .. dialogue and acting is dire. If only the dialogue was on par with choreography related to the gratuitous violence it may lend some gravitas. Absolutely crap. Too much of this unacceptable violence on display. If only the script and acting was worthwhile it could make for a decent series but this effort is just depicting violence for the hell of it. Shameful
