A book full of distorted history written and edited by Kuki scholars(with vested interests) and a senile, attention-seeking retired colonel who portrayed Kuki labourers protesting against the Brits for sending them to other countries(especially France) as a war 😆. It wasn't even an uprising. A short-lived rebellion that the Brits curbed too soon. When has a conflict between an employer and some employees taken as a war? 🤣

It's one of the best feel good entertainer. I liked the theme: reuniting separated lovers, letting them get things off their chest. That was brilliant.
