I was hesitantly excited to see this, but it exceeded my expectations. Loved it!

I grew up watching Sex and the City. I related to all the characters in different ways, and I have rewatched all the seasons multiple times, so when the show aired I was excited to watch. Warning* they should have left it alone. It was so bad start to finish. Very uncomfortable. Watching women in their 50's try to sound like WOKE 20 year olds in a way that was forced and awkward. It felt desperate and took women I idolized and ruined my perception of them forever. Samantha my dear, you dodged a major train wreck here and I'm so proud of you for not being a part of this! I wish I just hadn't. I can never unsee what I saw. I have had some disappointments in the past with come back shows, but this will go down as my biggest disappointment of all. WHY HBO! WHY!?! ALL THE TIME YOU HAD TO WRITE A GOOD SHOW! 😭

This was the worst Netflix show I’ve ever seen. I was super excited about it. The acting was so bad I found myself laughing frequently, but it’s not a comedy. I tried to make it through episode two, because I thought maybe the actors needed warming up to their roles, but it was just so bad, so unbelievable. So cheesy. Maybe for teenagers? 🤷🏼‍♀️
