We absolutely adored the show acting plots especially Anne Reid as the feisty granny and that wonderful speech to her family saying it was their “fault” the world or the UK has ended up this way but boy what a disappointing rushed ending which made things too ethereal and a tad “Dr Whoish” which started off as a gritty drama and something the world could be heading for I ended up thinking what was that all about? All very ambiguous
