Alex Bell

I read this book in middle school in 8th grade. It was both horrifying and fascinating at the same time. I love the series and I hope to be able to read it again sometime soon. I loved Connor's, Risa's, and Lev's personalities, because they seemed like they wouldn't be friends in other circumstances. I didn't like Roland very much, but I don't think he deserved what happened to him. The unwinding process is so detailed, gory, and stomach twisting but I love it. Neal Shusterman is a truly talented author, and I look forward to seeing if there will be a movie or a TV series about this book series. I recommend it to anyone who loves these types of novels.
