I've got almost 2,000 hours in this game since March 2020. It is hands down the best action game on the market. -It runs smooth on good settings for my old machine. -The mechanics are based in the fact that it's a horde game, and are very forgiving. -The amount of self-sustain is rediculous. You've always got a way to heal. -Team play is highly recommended, the in game voip is ok (mutes the game when people talk though) and there's a social wheel that's basic enough to be efficient, and covers everything you need. -Every animation is well thought out and lines up with what's expected. -Skill requirement isn't very high, so new players can have fun. But the ceiling is nigh-unattainable. -Server connection is solid. Steam hosted peer to peer. -Each DLC is worth it's cost 2-fold. The maps are amazing, and the characters and weapons spice the game up/fill roles people want to play. -In-depth class customization with unique builds between customized weapons, talents, and teammates. -Some mods are approved by Fatshark to be usable in the base game and are also supported through the steam workshop making mods accessible to everyone. -Speaking of mods, one of my favorite game modes is True Solo! A modded experience that takes away all of your teammates, even AI!
