This show is so incredibly directed and scripted. The first episode messed up my mind. The actors and actresses are so adept at their work, the audience will definitely feel the emotions through the screen. I was so disturbed after watching each episode because the content was extremely nauseating. Yet i was so addicted to the story that i couldn't stop myself from watching further. The character of Fred Waterford was that of a villian. Yet the actor who played his role won my heart. I loved him but i hated him at the same time for his deeds in the show. This show made me had ambivalent emotions and i can easily and happily conclude this to be my favourite series. The best one I have watched so far. Also most of the time i thought about the Taliban's acts against the woman and the society in Afghanistan. This fictional story of Gilead is so disturbing yet better than the real situation in Afghanistan.
