My favourite scene from the cartoon in 1998 was when the emperor bows to Mulan which then sparked the kingdom to bow to her too as a gesture of gratitude. This was a powerful scene that made me pour out in tears. In the new movie, they could have made the emperor go to the village and make him bow to her in front of all the villagers, who have looked down on her all her life. Otherwise slowwwww movie with little development of characters.
