I must say, this was one of the most disappointing movies I've ever watched. The only reason I decided to give it a try was the star cast and Salman Khan's cameo. However, the film severely lacked an original storyline. Instead, it relied heavily on playing with Hindu sentiments by incorporating elements of the Ramayan, which felt forced and unnecessary.
The entire movie was overloaded with slow-motion sequences, and if you were to remove those along with the Ramayan references, the runtime would barely exceed an hour. As for the action, it was just the same old formula from Rohit Shetty cars flying in the air and explosions galore. There was no depth or creativity, just a predictable and repetitive spectacle.
Speaking of the cast, if we talk about Arjun Kapoor, there's absolutely no growth or change in his acting. I fail to understand why he was chosen as the villain. The hype around his character was as if he'd be a menacing force like "THANOS", but in the end, Singham ke panje se nikal hi nahi paya. His performance and character fell flat, further highlighting the film's flaws.
I was also shocked to see the movie rated 4 out of 5 on Google clearly paid reviews, which is why I never trust Google ratings. Rotten Tomatoes provided a far more honest assessment, giving it a 3 out of 10. Those 3 points are solely for the star cast, especially Ranveer Singh's comedic performance as Simba and Akshay Kumar's presence. Aside from that, this was one of the worst movies I've ever seen.
