It butchers the source material. Pacing is so fast all character depth and emotional impact are lost. This is a classic case of diversity done wrong. The show runners butcher the source material to inject their own moments so they can be “inclusive”. The original work had diversity and powerful women lead characters. This just crams them in where it doesn’t make sense sacrificing continuity and storytelling. This is not the wheel of time.
