No spoilers. It was a disappointment for me. Also about 30 mins too long. Some nice visual effects but the story just didn't work, frankly the film was boring for me and seemed more like a made for TV writing with the narration schtick. I was hoping for much better and this was my first movie in a theater since pre covid . A letdown. Thandiwe Newton was only bright spot character.

It stunk . Poor movie making. Almost no context to anything including main storyline. I regret wasting my time on it. If you want to watch a movie with lots of green houses to stare at while main characters slowly go bonkers and dig holes dealing with weird alien beings While they age rapidly ok but I wish I hadn't. Bad ending to bad film too.

Decent story ...well acted..yet... It seemed way too long to me... Was glad when it ended. Drug addiction was not the main plot line but a prominent theme. Deep emotional scars was the main theme, the addiction was a byproduct of the scars.

Very well done. Visually superb film making. Strong story, excellent acting. Recommend.
