very dull film, weak plot line and script most of parts under written. No memorable songs. Usual cliches about London - big ben, roof tops, parks, grumpy park-keeper. Lots of technicolour things and pointless animations. Could have done without Meryl Streep and DIck Van Dyke. Did quite like balloon woman and in as much as this film has a heart it is provided by Ben Wilshaw who does a solid job as a grieving husband. Emily Blunt looks good but she's not a song and dance woman and again there's not a lot for her to do other than look good. I kept waiting for it to improve but then the credits were rolling.... its not unlike Paddington Bear 2 - similar cast and locations but without ace script and warm and wonderful acting.
