Deeply satisfying but took a long time to sew it up, which is as it should be. I guess. I thought all the gay sex was gratuitous however and it had the effect of making me feel less sympathetic to Den and Wayne. I never had a complete picture of George and how she fit into the family or even if she did? I loved that my opinion of Ursula and Claire came full circle. Great character development! Also felt this to be true of Sarah's construction worker-lover. The young people were fabulous, start to finish! The best kind of ending with acceptance of one another. But Scott won't give up will he?

Was very dark! Examined the depths people will go to find answers, salve their pain and in the final analysis become someone entirely different than they and the viewer thought. The plot(s) were maybe a tad convoluted. Definitely open ended for another season but maybe there shouldn't be.

Loved it! Hope it's renewed as there are infinite possibilities as to where it can go.
