Some may call the plot as an unconventional love story, but my take on this is that it illustrated the modern marriages where both parents are so involved in their careers to a point that abuse and neglect crept into their marriage. Lee Sang-yoo as Seo Do-woo played the role of a man every woman would love to have as a husband, He loved and cared for a daughter that was not even his, plus cherished his emotional unavailable wife – (Jang Hee-jin as Kim Hye-won). This marriage illustrated that one partner should never take advantage of an honest and loving husband, because once men discovers the lies, their hearts are not as forgiving as women. Shin Sung-rok as Park Jin-seok was a role that displayed a man who was abusive to his wife and child, His role is one man no woman should never be so unfortunately as to marry such a character. Such characteristics of a man like Park Jin-seok tend to prey on women who are emotional weak like (Kim Ha-neul as Choi Soo-ah), Choi Soo-ah truly frustrated me, her reasoning capacity was so low, to a point of boring. I loved Seo Do-woo’s mother, she has such an eye, even without having seen Seo Do-woo and Choi Soo-ah together, just by observing she knew and found Choi Soo-ah’s nature appealing so much that she left a clue for her son to follow his heart. I loved this drama as it was very realistic as to how so many marriages break down as a result of domestic abuse, neglect , lies and lack of love between spouses. Thank you to all the cast.
