I’m about halfway through and have enjoyed the journey so far. The book brings to light that girls and young women in that part of the world who want to do better have multiple burdens to bear. Treated as nothing more than bride money and second class citizens without a thought for their intellectual capabilities. Looking forward to reading the rest of the story. Adunni is the heroine a strong intelligent young woman.
