In a time where there was minimal technology and the focus was on the story line, this movie was far ahead of it's time. Thus becoming a Classic, based on the H.G.Wells novel with the same name.
Ranking with such classics as;
1. The Day The Earth Stood Still (1951)
2. The War of The Worlds (1953)
3. Forbidden Planet (1956)
4. "Journey to the Center of the Earth" (1959)
etc. etc.
I believe we will (if we haven't already) achieve such dreams and make them a reality.
